Of Intelligence or Advice.

These Letters are the informers of our friends, of our own, or others concerns. There is no great matter of invention required in them, for the very subject will afford you matter enough; all that is required of you in this, are these two things; the frist, that you word your Matter well, and that you write not any thing undervisedly, which you cannot justifie; but above all, have a care of News-writing, if it nearly concern the State, or any great person thereunto belonging.
