A way not only to prevent but to cure the Toothach, or to make an aking-Tooth fall out of it self.

Every Month, twice or theice therein, wash | | 181 your Mouth with White-wine, in which Spurge hath been boil'd, and you shall never be troubled with the Tooth-ach. If your Tooth be hollow, & paineth you much, take this Herb called Spurge and squeeze it, and mingle Wheat-flower with the Milk which issueth thence; with this make a Paste and fill the cavity of your Tooth therewith, leaving it there a while, changing it every two hours, and the Tooth will drop out.
