A very good receipt for one hurt with Gun-powder.

Take twelve heads of Housleek, one hanful of Groundfel, one pint of Goose-dung as much Chicken-dung of the newest that can be gotten; stamp the Herbs very small, then put the dung into a Mortar, temper them together with a pottle of Bores-grease, stir them together half an hour, then strain it through a Canvasbag and so preserve it for your use; it will keep two years, and be not the worse.
