An electuary for intermiting Fevers.
Mix one ounce of snake root with a pound of jesuit's bark, both beaten into a powder, and infused into as much syrup of cloves as will make an electuary. Between the fits take about the bigness of a chesnut, and when you have repeated that about three or four days, you will find yourself growing better, and will soon be well.
