To make perfumed Paste for Bracelets.
Take half an ounce of turpentine, four grains of ambergrease, and the same quantity of musk, put to them a dram and a half of calamita, two drams of benjamin, and of the following articles half a scruple each, viz. flowers of lavender, cloves, mace, and wood of aloes; let the whole be dissolved in as much rose-water as will turn them to a paste, then let them be beaten together in a morter, and put up in paper for use.
