To make a swarthy Complexion appear agreeable.

Sift the flour out of half a peck of wheat bran, then, put to the bran eight new laid eggs, and six pints of white wine vinegar; let the eggs be beaten as small as possible, and when the whole is properly mixed, let its distil over a slow fire; when it has stood a day to settle, take a little of it and rub your face every day for a fortnight, and it will look extremely fair.
