To make fine Water to soften the Skin.
Mix together the flowers of lavender and fumitory each two ounces, one ounce of frankincense, and a quarter of an ounce of camphire; put to them two ounces of orange flowers, three ounces of rosemary, and one ounce and a half of the flowers of balm pour upon them half a pint of the spirits of wine, and fix pints of white wine, let the whole steep together twenty-four hours, then take it and rub the shoulders, breasts, and neck; it will make the skin feel as smooth as sattin.
