To make the Shoulders and Breast appear white.

Take a quart of dew gathered in May, with half a pint of sumitory-water; put to them two ounces of lavender-water then let all the ingredients be properly mixed, and put up in a vessel to settle. Wash your neck, breast and shoulders, first in water that camomile flowers has been boiled in, mixed with white wine, let it dry in, and then rub this liquid upon it, and the skin will appear quite transparent.
